# Approvals

> Approve documents and trial balance accounts.

Denari has features for approving both documents and trial balance lines.

## Document approvals

On the documents tab of your project, right-click on any document to approve or unapprove it. Any user assigned to the project can approve or unapprove:

* **Preparers** get a blue initials badge
* **Reviewers** get a green initials badge

You can also click the **Approve** or **Unapprove** button on the document view page.

## Account approvals

On the trial balance, click the **...** on any account and click **Mark as reviewed** or **Un-mark as reviewed** to approve or unapprove a trial balance line.

  Unlike documents, multiple users cannot approve or unapprove the same trial balance line.
