Starting a conversation
Navigate to Answers from the sidebar. You’ll see a chat window where you can type any question about your firm’s data or accounting workflows. Some examples of what you can ask:- “How many billable hours did we log last month?”
- “Which clients have the most outstanding work?”
- “How does our utilization compare to industry benchmarks?”
- “Show me a chart of revenue by department for Q4.”
How Answers responds
Answers gives you clear, direct responses without unnecessary jargon. Before diving into an answer, it may ask a few clarifying questions to make sure it understands exactly what you’re looking for. Reply naturally, and it will refine its response. When your question involves firm data, you’ll see an Analyzing… section appear while Answers queries your connected data sources. Once complete, it will present its findings as text, a table, or a chart — whichever is most appropriate.Controls
At the bottom of the chat, you’ll find a few controls next to the input field:- Web Search (globe icon) — Toggle this on to let Answers search the web for current information like industry benchmarks and best practices. Enabled by default. See Web Research for details.
- Connectors (plug icon) — Choose which data sources Answers can access for your question. See Data Sources & Connectors for details.
